Paris....an actual dream come true! Ever since I was a young chef I have always wanted to go to Paris and learn the "French" way...inspired by Chefs such as Alain Passard, Daniel Boulud and Adeline Grattard just to name a few... I've always felt a part of my "chef_hood" was missing....until October 2022. It all changed when I was finally able to enroll into some pastry classes (thank you to my wife for your never ending support) at Le Cordon Blue Paris.
Spending two weeks learning with top French Chefs, their techniques, love and passion for food is so inspiring. Food in Paris truly is a way of life.
When I wasn't in schooling I would spend the days, walking, taking in the sights...EATING as much as possible and checking out renowned restaurants such as Arpège, Yam'Tcha + Benoit.
-Arpège - What an inspiring story of one of the best Chefs! Alain Passard is nearly self sustainable with a huge property in Normandie with a variety of vegetables and poultry. You can catch him on Netflix Chefs Table, France...Worth the watch.
-Benoit - Paris' oldest bistro I believe...Is over 100 years old and truly instills the trandition of the "French Bistro" restaurant. Perfectly executed dishes such as the Tournedos Rossini...Beef tenderloin, foie gras and truffles.
-Yam'Tcha - JUST WOW! Adeline truly combines the best of the French and the Chinese cuisines. One of the best meals I have ever had. I opted for a wine and tea pairing with my 9 course menu here. Everything balanced just beautifully.
